Terms and Conditions
Last updated 29 August 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and us about using BeeLucy. They are meant to be read, so they are written to be readable. Using the app means you accept them.
Who we are
BeeLucy is provided by MB BeeLucy, registered in Lithuania. You can reach us at hello@beelucy.com. “We” and “us” mean that company; “you” means the person using the app.
Who can use BeeLucy
You must be 18 or over and able to enter a contract. One account belongs to one person: sharing a record with your partner is what the invite code is for, and it works better than sharing a login.
Your account
You sign in with Google or Apple, so the security of your account is mostly the security of that account and of the device it is unlocked on. You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us if you think someone else has access to it.
BeeLucy is a log, not medical advice
BeeLucy records what you tell it and adds it up. It is not a medical device, it does not monitor your baby, and it cannot detect that anything is wrong. Nothing in the app — including totals, intervals, and the time since the last entry — is medical advice or a substitute for it. If you have any concern about your baby’s health, feeding, or sleep, contact a qualified healthcare professional; if it is urgent, contact emergency services. Never delay getting help because of something you did or did not see in the app.
Totals and durations are calculated from the times you enter, so they are exactly as accurate as those times. We do not warrant that any figure the app shows is clinically meaningful.
Sharing a record
An invite code gives whoever enters it full access to a baby record: the entire log including entries made before they joined, every type, and the display names of the other caregivers. Share it only with people you intend to give that access to. If a code gets out, the owner can remove that caregiver from Baby details.
Each record has one owner — whoever created it. The owner can hand ownership to another caregiver, remove caregivers, or delete the record. Deleting a record deletes its entire history for everyone on it, at once and permanently. Please be sure.
Only log information about a child you are responsible for, or one whose parent or guardian has asked you to.
White noise
The white noise is pink noise generated on your device and played through your phone’s speaker at a deliberately low level. Sound machines can reach volumes that matter for an infant’s hearing over long periods: keep the volume low, place the phone well away from the cot, never in or on it, and do not run it loudly all night. How you use it is your responsibility.
It keeps playing while your phone is locked, which is what it is for, and stops when you tell it to — from the app, the lock-screen controls, or the notification on Android. It will use battery while it runs.
What you write stays yours
Your entries, types, notes, and names remain yours. You give us only the permission we need to run the service: to store your content, sync it, and show it to the other caregivers on the record. That permission exists for no other purpose, and it ends when the content is deleted.
Using it fairly
Do not try to reach data that is not yours, work around the app to talk to our systems directly, overload the service, or use it to store anything unlawful. Do not resell it or pass it off as your own. We may suspend or close an account that does these things.
Availability and changes
BeeLucy is free and provided as it is. We do not promise it will be available without interruption or free of faults, and it depends on services we do not control — your phone’s operating system, its app store, our hosting provider, and the push services. Features may change or be removed as the app develops, and the app can update itself over the air.
If we ever discontinue the service, we will give reasonable notice in the app so you can get your data out first.
BeeLucy is not a backup service. Keep anything you would be upset to lose somewhere else as well.
Our liability
Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law — including death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, and your mandatory rights as a consumer under Lithuanian and EU law. Those rights stand whatever this document says.
Beyond that, and because the app is free: we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost data where the loss is outside our control, or for any decision you take about your baby’s health in reliance on the app rather than on professional advice.
Ending it
You can stop at any time: delete your account in Settings → Preferences → Delete account, or simply remove the app. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms seriously or repeatedly, and we will say why unless the law stops us.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the app changes. If a change matters to you we will tell you in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use BeeLucy after that means you accept the new version; if you do not, delete your account.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of Lithuania. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory law of the country you live in, and you may bring proceedings there.
Please email hello@beelucy.com first — most things are a misunderstanding and are fixed in a message or two. If that fails, EU consumers can use the European Commission’s online dispute resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr, or contact the State Consumer Rights Protection Authority in Lithuania.
